V-Ray Support for Maya 2017
Denoiser – the V-Ray denoiser automatically removes noise and cuts render times by up to 50% with GPU acceleration. V-Ray’s denoting technology is non-destructive, providing the original render and the denoised version for even more control.
New set-up – with the last service pack, V-Ray 3.4 for Maya, we rolled out a new user interface set-up, making it faster and easier to get started.
Distributed rendering – distributed rendering makes it possible to render on multiple computers working in parallel, making it faster and more cost efficient. Customers can use distributed rendering for V-Ray 3 for Maya by purchasing an additional render node. Because there’s no need to purchase a separate floating workstation license, the cost of rendering is reduced by 75%.
