This policy explains how Medialogic (“we”, “us”), the authorized SketchUp distributor for the GCC & MENA, handles personal information collected through this website. SketchUp products themselves are provided by Trimble Inc.; your use of SketchUp software and Trimble accounts is covered by Trimble’s privacy notice.

1. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us when you submit a contact, quote, demo or training request:

• Name, work email address and (optionally) phone or WhatsApp number
• Company or institution, country and number of licenses you are interested in
• The product you selected and any message you write

When you submit a form we also record technical information needed to protect the site from abuse: your IP address, browser type and the page you submitted from.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes
• To process and manage your SketchUp subscription purchase and renewals
• To arrange training or demos you request
• To send you a confirmation that we received your enquiry
• To prevent spam and fraudulent submissions

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

3. Service providers

We use trusted providers to run this website. They process data only on our instructions:

• Web hosting: stores the website and the enquiries database.
• Brevo: delivers enquiry notification and confirmation emails.
• Trimble / SketchUp: when you buy or trial SketchUp, your licence is issued through your Trimble ID.

On the Find a reseller page we may look up your approximate country from your IP address (via geoPlugin) to pre-select resellers near you. Nothing is stored except for the length of your visit.

Images on this site are served from SketchUp’s content delivery network (Contentful) and fonts from Google Fonts; these services receive your IP address when your browser loads them.

4. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a business relationship, and for any period required by UAE tax and commercial record-keeping rules. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time (see “Your rights”).

5. Security

Enquiries are stored in a private database that is only accessible to authorised Medialogic staff through a password-protected admin area. Sensitive credentials are stored encrypted. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to its use. Contact us via sales@medialogicdubai.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
